The Spinal Cord Injury Service would like to acknowledge all Veterans, families, and caregivers who have been impacted by ALS, as well as anyone else who has been affected. The Spinal Cord Injury Service will have an ALS information table set up in the Canteen Store Lobby on Wednesday, 5/8, from 10a.m. to 1 p.m. A table will be set up at Parma on 5/15, 11 a.m. to 1p.m. and 5/22 at Ravenna from 2p.m. to 4 p.m.

Whichever site you are at, on that day, please be sure to wear RED to support ALS Awareness!

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord which control movement of muscles. More than 5,000 people are diagnosed with ALS every year. There is not a cure for ALS.
