About this Event
Starting at Alpkit Keswick every Wednesday evening, this Couch to 5k course will run every Wednesday from 16th October for 10 weeks. At the end you will celebrate by running Keswick Parkrun and some food and drink back at the shop. Please see itinerary below for full 10 week schedule.
Your £7 ticket price covers all 10 weeks of Couch to 5k runs and all money goes towards the Alpkit Foundation.
Join Jenni, a level 3 personal trainer, Run Leader and local runner, for weekly training runs. Each run will follow the Couch to 5k NHS training plan, and you’ll be joined by others for motivation, companionship and accountability.
These inclusive and friendly runs are a great way to stay on track and run together.
Couch to 5K is for everyone. Whether you've never run before or you just want to get more active, Couch to 5K is an easy way of getting fitter and healthier.
At the end of your 10 weeks, pick up your free Alpkit gift and celebrate together. Your £7 ticket fee will all go to the Alpkit Foundation and covers all 10 weeks of running and the celebration afterwards.
Your 4-legged friends are welcome to come and run with you too!
All you need to bring is something you can move and are comfortable in. The trails will be steady going and so wear whatever you can run in.
A windproof or waterproof layer may help – and some water.
