We are excited to announce that First Church will be running The Marriage Course by Alpha on Saturdays, 8/16-9/27, at 6:00-8:30pm. The Marriage Course is suitable for couples at any stage of their relationship, whether engaged, newly married, or long-term partners.
Learn practical tools to deepen your connection and keep the spark alive. The Marriage Course is for any couple looking to invest in their relationship. The course is designed to strengthen relationships through discussions and activities. It includes 7 weekly sessions that cover topics such as communication, conflict resolution, and intimacy which aim to provide couples with tools to enhance their relationship and deepen their understanding of each other.
The sessions are set up as a date night and are completely private, with no group work. Enjoy private, intimate conversations as a couple, giving you the space to engage openly and honestly with your partner. Each session begins with sharing dinner as a couple, followed by a fun, insightful video covering topics that are relevant for every couple.
Cost per couple = $15/session
Church members and non-church members alike are all invited.
The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for couples with or without a Christian faith.
