I was lost, searching for answers, when my neighbor told me about Alpha…

"Jenn, our church is running this class called Alpha. You’d love it. There’s free childcare, a meal, and a chance to ask questions after watching a short video. Just try it and see if it helps.”

I told her I’d think about it, but I wasn’t committed. I wasn’t sure if that was what I needed.

When the first Alpha class came up, I skipped it. I took a nap instead. I just wasn’t ready.

Then, the next Sunday at church, still searching for answers, I listened to a man share his story on stage.

He spoke about feeling lost, unsure of his purpose, disconnected. He had been struggling with so much, and then he found Alpha. It gave him a sense of peace and purpose, a safe space to ask the big questions.

Right then, I knew. I needed Alpha.

That night, on week two, I attended my first Alpha class, and guess what...

It was EXACTLY what I needed.

It wasn’t what I expected, but in the best way! Even though it was at the church, it felt more like home—warm, inviting, and safe. Everyone was so kind and caring. I felt supported from the moment I walked in.

Through Alpha, I asked life’s biggest questions without feeling embarrassed. I grew close with my group, and we still connect to this day. Alpha was a life-changing experience.

When Alpha ended, I felt a sadness. I had looked forward to every Sunday night—getting out of the house, sharing a meal, and having deep conversations with my group.

Before Alpha, life felt directionless and overwhelming…

After Alpha, I found clarity, purpose, and peace.
