Join us for our ALPFA Boston Community Service Event with the Neighborhood of Affordable Housing (NOAH).
- NOAH, a community development corporation, promotes equity, community cohesion, environmental justice, and economic resiliency.
NOAH increases access to affordable housing, creates social and economic opportunities, and empowers residents to be leaders of change.
- ALPFA and NOAH will be coming together for a collective clean- up of two parks in East Boston.
- The NOAH Youth Leadership Crew, comprises dedicated local teens aged 14 to 17. They receive training in leadership development, emphasizing environmental justice projects and community organizing in East Boston.
- This year-round program equips young people with leadership and career skills that positively impact their academic and social lives, offering meaningful local employment opportunities.
- It also empowers youth to engage directly in environmental justice and related issues affecting their neighborhood.
- Through hands-on experience and comprehensive training, the youth leadership curriculum fosters confidence and skills, preparing them to become climate leaders in their community!
