Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge invites the public to “An Evening about Alpacas and their Wonderful Fiber” on Wednesday, November 12, at 7:00 PM. The lodge is located at 317 South Page Street, Stoughton, WI. Alpacas are the source of wonderful fiber. Lodge members, Tom & Ginny Olson of Cottage Grove, will share experiences with raising alpacas and utilizing their fleece to produce beautiful items of clothing. They will extoll the qualities of alpaca over other fibers and share the process of working with alpaca from shearing to a finished product. They will demonstrate various pieces of equipment that they use in their work and provide examples of finished products. Refreshments will be served! Everyone is welcome and no reservations needed! There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed. We always encourage you to bring donations for the Stoughton Food Pantry! The public is always welcome at Mandt Lodge!
