Prepare:
Nothing to prepare. Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script.
Casting Needs:
The play consists of nine scenes with 2-3 actors in each scene.
From the playwright: “The play is for four actors. The play is also a play for as many as twenty actors. Any kind of human being – actors of all shapes, sizes, colors, backgrounds, abilities, and genders can play the roles.”
From the director: “I prefer to have as many actors in the roles as possible! Don’t doubt yourself! Take the plunge and audition!”

Prologue
PETE and GINETTE, who have been dating for a little while.
Her Heart
EAST, a repairman, and GLORY, a hiker.
Sad and Glad
JIMMY, a heating and cooling guy, SANDRINE, his ex-girlfriend, and a salty WAITRESS.
This Hurts
MARVALYN, a woman who knows pain, and STEVE, a man
who does not.
Getting It Back
GAYLE and LENDALL, longtime girlfriend and boyfriend.
Interlogue
PETE, from the Prologue.
They Fell
RANDY and CHAD (or DEENA and SHELLY), two “Aroostook County Boys (or girls)” and longtime friends.
Where It Went
PHIL, a hard-working husband, and MARCI, his hard-working
wife.

HOPE, who has traveled the world, and a MAN, who has not.

RHONDA, a tough woman, and DAVE, the not-so-tough man
who loves her.
