Almost, but not quite, the World brings together eight artists whose practices explore the space between perception and encounter. Sculptures, installations, drawings, and moving images are made from materials such as porcelain, asphalt, wood, paper, silicone, and found objects, each carefully chosen for its texture, history, and emotional resonance. Perspectives shift across scale and technique: intimate, hand-held objects invite close attention, while large installations and scenographic works occupy the viewer’s space, shaping bodily experience. The artists investigate landscapes both real and imagined (forests, urban spaces, memory, identity, and constructed beliefs) testing how materials and form convey fragility, tension, and presence. The exhibition reveals worlds that are almost grasped, almost inhabited, inviting viewers to experience the delicate threshold between seeing, touching, and imagining.
