Dear Tangueros and Tangueras Near and Far,You are called upon to make your appearance at the grand Masquerade Ball at the Historic Miami Woman's Club on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 8:00pm to 11:45pm. Alma de Tango is preparing the Fall season’s most awe-inspiring event: The one and only Annual Masquerade Ball; Navigating A Spectral Alignment!
As many of you know this is one of our most elaborate events of the year. A night of mystery, surprises, and of course, intimate Tangos. This year the Miami Woman’s Club will travel back in time as we invite guests from Masquerade Ball's past to come join us on a night that will soon become an historic tradition of its own accord..
The night begins with an approach to the soaring classical edifice of this 1920’s masterpiece building. As guests dressed in masquerade attire, complete with a masquerade mask, make their way through the historic portico and ascend 3 floors to the ballroom, one will enter a game of guessing who is who. As a discreet cabezeo invites you onto the dance floor, can you be sure who your dance partner truly is? Next is a special all-levels tango group class perfectly designed to fit the spirit of the night. After the class, as the lights begin to dim, loosen your inhibitions and allow yourself to be seduced by an enticing mix of sounds from a selection of nontraditional tangos.
Additional highlights include a selection of wicked trick-or-treats, best costume prizes, raffle door prizes, festive gifts for all, and a few extra surprises that you must attend to find out! As you can tell we are very excited, and looking forward to seeing everyone in their Masquerade attire! (That is if we can recognize you!…)
