Music, art, and storytelling come together for, Alma & Gustav, our next Symphony Series concert on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 7 PM in Cordiner Hall.Experience the story of Alma Mahler through a symphonic graphic novel created by Catherine Varvaro, featuring over 800 hand-drawn images by Pauline Stive. Set to Alma Mahler’s compositions, performed by mezzo-soprano Melissa Schiel, and woven together with Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 5, this visual and musical journey brings her struggles, artistry, and legacy to life.
