Ally Network: Support for carers, family and friends group (LWUK)

About this Event

In partnership with Marriage and MS, we’re launching the Ally Network, a monthly virtual group designed specifically for carers, family members, and friends who support people living with Multiple Sclerosis. This safe, supportive space will allow you to connect with others facing similar challenges, share experiences, and access resources to strengthen your wellbeing.

Led by Simone Bell, a dedicated coach and trainee counselor, the Ally Network offers compassionate guidance from someone who understands MS firsthand. Simone has a deep personal connection to MS through supporting her husband and brings a unique blend of empathy, insight, and professional expertise to her coaching approach. Her mission is to empower carers and allies of those with MS to navigate their roles with resilience, find balance, and prioritize their own mental and emotional well-being.

Join us as we pilot these sessions at the start of 2025 to gain practical insights, share experiences, and build a community of allies supporting one another on this journey.

What to expect?

Virtual Zoom meeting with other people who are carers, friends, or family of those with MS. A safe space to chat, connect, and reflect on your own experiences.

During the virtual session, you’ll:

Hear other people’s experiences.
An opportunity to share your own experiences.
Learn new strategies to navigate supporting your loved ones.

This group is open to anyone who is a carer, family or friend of someone with MS.

What do you need to take part?

All you need to join in is a laptop, tablet, phone, or computer with access to a microphone and camera. You'll need a stable internet connection to use Zoom, the video meeting software we use.

What if I haven’t been sent the link?

The Living Well team sends out reminder emails with the link. You'll also get emails from Eventbrite, so please enter your email address carefully when registering. If you can't find these emails before the session, check your spam or junk folder. Alternatively, you can access the link by logging into your Eventbrite account.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?

If you find that you are unable to take part please get in touch at [email protected] so we can offer up your place to someone else.
