The Alluvion proudly welcomes Six-time GRAMMY-winning musician, producer, composer, and Blue Note Records President Don Was with his new band Don Was and the Pan Detroit Ensemble
The nine piece band will be performing songs from their new album: Groove In The Face Of Adversity. They will also be playing their versions of songs from the iconic Grateful Dead album: Blues For Allah to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its release.
Made up of stellar jazz musicians from his Detroit hometown, the band features longtime collaborators including Blue Note Records artist Dave McMurray on sax and Eminem’s Oscar-winning collaborator keyboardist Luis Resto.
