In this event, the trio will pay tribute to the music of legandary guitarists such as Wes Montgomely, Grant Green, Bireli Lagrene, etc. Jazz guitarist Ron Ng will pick some meaningful pieces that have big influences to his more than 10 years of guitar playing. Together with tenor saxophone player Pierre Veniot and bassist Vinc Chan, the trio will rearrange and put new lives to these classical tunes.

這次三重奏將向傳奇吉他手如 Wes Montgomery、Grant Green及Bireli Lagrene 等致敬。爵士吉他手Ron挑選對他逾十年吉他生涯有重大影響的意義深遠的曲目。他將與次中音薩克斯風手 Pierre Veniot 及貝斯手 Vinc Chan 一起重新編排這些經典樂曲，賦予它們新生。

Ron Ng

Ron is a versatile guitarist with extensive experience across musical styles including jazz, blues, and rock. He has performed with prominent musicians in major venues around Hong Kong and China, and teaches jazz improvisation at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Ron's compositions, which include a range of genres from classical to contemporary music, showcase his formal training in music composition.

Pierre Veniot

A seasoned saxophonist and flutist based in Hong Kong, Pierre has nearly five decades of experience in the music industry, with significant contributions to jazz and world-beat music. He has appeared at the Montreal Jazz Festival and has numerous compositions signed with major publishers. Pierre is actively involved in teaching and preparing for a new album release.

A bassist and composer who graduated from the Los Angeles Music Academy. He has been active in the local jazz scene and various music festivals, and also serves as a music director for several organizations.
