About this Event
Introducing Allilon, a London-based powerhouse in the hair industry since 2009. Our mission is to globally empower stylists through unparalleled hair education, fostering technical expertise, confidence, and creativity in color, cutting, barbering, and styling.
Rooted in values like commitment, evolution, humility, encouragement, and inspiration, we've reached every corner of the Globe, elevating the industry through courses, shows, seminars, and online education. Our unique strength lies in a tight-knit team, akin to family, united by a shared goal. Join us on a journey of continuous growth and artistry, where passion meets skill.
This course is designed to give any student a clear and in-depth understanding of what a Faded cut is. You will gain confidence in tool use and technique, allowing you to become comfortable with creating smooth transitions amongst shorter clipper guards.
These techniques can be instantly transferred to your salon clients, helping to create sharp and smooth fades.
AllilOn - Jake Fox
Knowing that he liked working with his hands and learning from observing others, Jake was drawn to hairdressing from a young age. His immediate enjoyment in being around a variety of people and practices kept him curious and eager to try new things. So alongside his salon work, he explored many different areas of the profession (including backstage fashion shows and colour) before settling on cutting as his primary craft.
It’s that curiosity and open-mindedness Jake likes to bring to a class. He thrives off interaction and it’s his energy and ability to make people feel at ease that allows him to connect so positively with his students. He always hopes to create a safe space for them to be inquisitive, whilst working towards building a strong technical foundation in their approach to hair cutting.
Joining the Allilon team has pushed Jake to reimagine his scope as a hairdresser and has inspired him to push his own boundaries as well as others’.
AllilOn - Stellios Shiachourou
My passion for barbering became apparent very soon after starting my hairdressing career 22 years ago. I dedicated myself to gain and constantly improve the necessary skills to work at the highest level. With these skills and an enjoyment of making others look and feel great, I quickly realised the value I could add to someone through a haircut. It made me feel good to give.
This feeling lead me to teach. I naturally progressed into sharing my knowledge as a professional educator, holding a VCTC assessors award for barbering and shaving at a level 2 and 3 standard. I became Head Educator at The London School of Barbering and maintained the position for 4 years whilst helping with the growth of the business. My next 5 year adventure was spent at Ego Barbers where I proudly co-created an education company called KOT (Kings Of Tomorrow). These experiences gave me the opportunity to travel worldwide, sharing knowledge and passion for the craft whilst, most importantly, helping to elevate the barbering scene.
"My goal has always been to make people feel great, whether it’s with a haircut, education or simply being there to listen. I believe I have the best job in the world; I cut hair and have fun!
