These four sessions over a period of several months are limited to 10 places - so book early to guarantee a place (live workshop sessions using Zoom). Session one: Tuesday 05 October 2021
Session two: Thursday 02 November 2021
Session three: Thursday 30 November 2021
Session four: Thursday 21 December 2021
Time for each session: 10:00 –12:00 BST/GMT
In this virtual ‘hands-on’ workshop we will work over four sessions to create a small and meaningful body of work. We will explore ideas around story-telling, narrative, adding layers of meaning and ultimately how to express yourself through the language, art and craft of photography.
These sessions are ideal for anyone wanting to spend a couple of months working on a meaningful project. Participants who have attended and enjoyed the popular Monsters, Myths and Metaphors workshop and are keen to evolve their work further but want a little more time between assignments might find this a good fit.
Through a mixture of jargon free presentations, fun practical sessions, exercises and lively group discussions, you will be guided through a range of image-making concepts, techniques and approaches. More importantly, you will learn some of the creative tools, processes and methodologies to take with you on your creative journey beyond the workshop.
If you feel frustrated that your image-making isn’t quite fulfilling your need to express yourself, or you just want to challenge yourself to new ideas and approaches or simply to stimulate your creative juices then this course could be the ideal springboard.
