Registration is open for Allerton Races on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20. Options include a Trail-Glo 5K on Friday evening (8:30 p.m.), and a 10K or half-marathon Saturday (9 a.m.).Half-marathon and 10K competitors will run on the Schroth Trails, along wooded terrain, through the Lost Garden and into the Allerton Meadow, finishing with a 100-yard dash between the FuDogs to the finish line!
Runners taking part in the Trail-Glo 5K will follow illuminated trail markings under an evening sky through the magic of the park’s Formal Gardens.
Here are the races that are available in 2024:
— Trail-Glo 5K, 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, $25/person
— 10K Run, 9 a.m. Saturday, April 20, $33/person
— Half Marathon, 9 a.m. Saturday, April 20, $38/person
— Virtual races are also available ($25 for 5K, $30 for 10K and $33 for Half-Marathon)
Medals are awarded for all 10K and half marathon finishers!
