More Project Details:

This project entails the renovation of the Allegheny branch of the YMCA. The scope includes renovating and updating all common spaces, the kitchen, fitness facilities including the wellness floor, pool area and locker rooms, and meeting rooms. New childcare space and additional programming is also envisioned. 86 single room occupancy (SRO) units will be renovated on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors with a new configuration that replaces shared bathrooms with private facilities and provides a much-needed community room for the residents. Rooms and corridor renovations will include flooring, painting and ceilings. Additional work will include replacement of mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and installation of a sprinkler system. Air-conditioning and new elevators will be added. This renovation ensures that the entire building is fully ADA accessible.

  • 33A – New Utilities + Asphalt Patching


General Requirements:

  • Include Prevailing Wage
  • Include RACP requirements (See Key Compliance Guidelines included w/ bid documents)
  • Include adequate labor to meet the phasing requirements and schedule (see below)
  • Provide minority participation and/or a good faith effort to assist in meeting project goals
