Immerse yourself in the expressive and dynamic art of “Alla Prima” portrait painting! This two-day workshop, led by teaching artist Alison Landry, will guide you through the process of creating portraits in a single session from live models using oil paints.Beginners will learn the fundamentals of blocking in large planes and shapes of the face, progressing to mixing vibrant skin tones. Advanced artists will deepen their understanding of core concepts and refine their techniques. Each morning begins with a live demonstration by the instructor, followed by guided painting time.
