Add it to the calendar! All you can eat! Spaghetti dinner, raffle tickets, and a silent auction. This is an event to bring awareness on Alzheimer’s and get people involved in ending this disease. I lost my grandfather October 21, 2024 and it was due to Alzheimer’s. People can be healthy but still can lose their life due to this disease. I want to help end this so it saves someone the pain and hurt I felt for the three years of losing my grandpa and when I lost him for good. This disease can be easily noticed and some cases not at all. It is important to know the signs and if it’s not for yourself you can help others. I have came across a few people that I was able to assist. However, some people don’t know and the ones that are suffering from the disease get treated poorly and it’s unfair. They did not choose this disease but now have to deal with it till it’s their time. Therefore, it is important to raise awareness, raise money, and help fight the disease. Medication is expensive but soon insurances will help cover the tests and medication. We must try, we must stand for something important , but most importantly we must stand together. Long details but I wanted to give a good overview on why this is happening. Bring a guest, bring an empty stomach, and welcome to the moose family🫶🏼
