ALL WE CARRY follows one family’s extraordinary journey as they flee persecution in Honduras and endure months in US detention. Upon release, they are sponsored by a synagogue in Seattle and move into a borrowed home, all while they await their asylum verdict. Over three years, the family navigates countless life-altering and every-day moments where memory, joy, and grief collide.
Doors: 6:30pm | Screening: 7:00pm | Panel: 8:30-9:00pm
The screening will be followed by a brief discussion with the filmmaker and community leaders. We’ll have the opportunity to celebrate with Sergio who was a guest at Kehilla during his asylum-seeking process and who has recently been able to bring his wife and children to the Bay Area.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and scent-free. Masks are required. For more about accessibility at Kehilla, visit this link. Please direct any questions about the event to: [email protected]
