Bluestocking Theatre present their debut new writing night All The Rage at one of Manchester's finest venues 53Two.
Featuring short plays from some of the North West's most exciting new writers, join us as we journey through 6 different worlds . Meet interstellar visitors, solve a M**der and arrive at the shores of a new landscape as we explore Human life from a female perspective.
Here's the line up:
The Earth Project By Victoria Tunnah - The aliens have landed in Hulme, but what do they want? A short play about escape, belonging and new beginnings.
Jeanie is Feeling Better at the Marie Stopes Clinic By Kirsty Smith - Is Jeanie really feeling better? A comedy exploring the 'good' choices women make at clinics and the 'bad.'
They Came in a Little Red Boat by Jerusha Green - A startling, hopeful tale of war and friendship.
Essential Needs by Karen Featherstone - Mary, Roy and the orgasm gap. He's got a lot of making up to do.
A Saleswoman by Jade Jiao - When wily saleswoman Kath stumbles upon Ada’s home to make a sale she leaves with more than she bargained for. This poignant tale explores family dynamics and human vulnerability.
Inspector Hector, Crime Detector - By Valerie Bundy
- Inspector Hector must solve the M**der of Kathy Paler in this fast paced comedy where two actors play all the suspects in this hilarious Whodunnit.
The event starts 7.30pm runs til around 9.30 and there's a Q & A with writers + directors on 7th.
