About this Event

All The Feels

Join us in person for a 1 hour session of musical receptive therapy.

The objectives for these sessions are to:

  • Relax your mind
  • Listen to your heart
  • Feed your soul

In this session you can expect a meandering, emotional and ultimately uplifting immersive musical therapy. The music will be fluid and you will be encouraged with the blind folds provided to fully focus and process the music being fed through the headphones provided.

You can lay and relax on the mats provided or you are free to move with the rythms, this is your experience and your way of processing the music - you are freed to express yourself in your space.

'All the feels' is hosted and delivered by legendary Bristol Artist, Producer and Broadcaster Diggz under his pseudonym FREED. Diggz has suffered with GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) for 20 years and found music as a vehicle to navigate his condition, emotions and changing landscape during the pandemic.

Over 30 years in the music indsutry he has worked with and managed some of the worlds biggest artists, broadcasted and produced for Radio 1, 1xtra, ITV and last year released an album called FREED - Learning to let go where he worked with singers who suffer with mental health conditions to push through their fears, release and perform new music.

The structure for the sessions generally follow four phases:

  • Preparation: Your host sets a safe, quiet environment and explains the goal, which might be processing grief, easing anxiety, or fostering reflection.
  • Listening: Your host plays a carefully curated playlist or live instrumentals chosen to match the group's energy or intended emotional state.
  • Reflection & Imagery: Participants let the music influence their thoughts and may engage in guided imagery, journaling, or drawing while listening.
  • Processing: The group can choose to discusse their internal reactions, memories, or feelings brought up by the music, allowing for shared peer support and insight if wanted or take what they have gained with them for personal reflection.
