This Summer, the CM Performing Arts Center, as part of our brand new LAPAA initiative, is proud to present the world premiere of All That Matters, an Original Play by Michael Livoti.ABOUT THE PLAY:
The patriarch of the Cardello family has died, and his widow wants to have their children come together to honor his memory. While the family tries hard to have a nice dinner together, many old wounds, disdain for each other, and a long held family secret, causes a deeper rift in the already estranged family.
ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT:
Michael has lived in Massapequa Park his whole life, and graduated from Molloy University in 2019 with a BA in Communications. However, his interest in writing and film began in his childhood. He is currently working in the public school system, but he’s continued his love of writing by publishing a blog on Substack called “Here’s the Thing…” which features a broad array of topics from opinion pieces, to short stories he’s written, and interviews with people that have interested him over the last few years. All That Matters is his first play. He is proud and excited to have this opportunity to share it with an audience, and work with this amazingly talented group of people.
