All Star Purple Party
This Prince Tribute Band features Edward “Junie” Henderson as Prince and an
All-Star Band of talented musicians from around the country complete with horn
section and backing vocals. This is a non-stop, hit packed show spanning up to
two hours and bringing the music and memories of Prince to audiences of all
generations. The Prince Cover Band, All Star Purple Party Performs all of
Prince’s biggest hits including Let’s Go Crazy, Purple Rain, When Doves Cry,
Kiss, 1999, Sign Of The Times, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Little Red Corvette and so
many more!
Ed sounds and looks like Prince. He performs in full gear as the artist himself
as the All-Star Purple Party Prince Cover Band features some of the New Power
Generation Group. Ed is known for “bringing the party.” Edward “Junie”
Henderson’s music is no stranger to accolades. He was lead vocalist and
songwriter for his group Experience Unlimited. The group had 4 top singles; was
Grammy nominated; and a Soul Train Award recipient. In 2016 he was inducted into
the African American History Museum on the Mall in Washington, D.C.
Ed has performed on the Arsenio Hall Show, Soul Train twice, at the Apollo and
has toured every major and Black Historic College in the country. He was
featured with Spike Lee in the movie, School Daze; the song “Da Butt” was a
number 1 hit.
