BYO-project to our monthly artmaking party:

• Writing: essay, poem, short story, blog
• Zine
• Drawing, watercolor
• Documentary, short video
• Podcast
• The idea you can't get out of your head

We’ll have desk space, wifi, outlets and artists to work alongside with.

Free event. Donations are strongly encouraged and appreciated to support an open and collaborative artmaking space.

Seeking volunteers! Setup @ 4:30pm (2 volunteers), breakdown at 10pm (2 volunteers). Please email us at [email protected] if you're able to volunteer.

Things to bring

• Food and snacks to share. Drinks will be available for sale.
• Projects that can be quietly worked on
• Art supplies / equipment: laptop, charger, headphones, drawing paper/supplies etc.

Please note:

• Friends & Neighbors is a phone-free space. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during the event. In the case that you need to use your phone, please do so in the hallway.
• Donations help a lot! Donations go towards our overhead costs, such as rent and printing and putting up flyers. We love analog marketing to bring in new friends and neighbors.
• Half of life is showing up. Due to our limited capacity, please RSVP only if you can attend. In the case your plans change, please cancel your ticket so we can accommodate more guests. Thank you!

Info: Come as early as 5pm to start snacking, mingling and working. We'll do introductions at 6pm to give people time to arrive.

Info: Now get to work, bitch! -- Britney Spears. This is the time to put your head down and get to work. We ask you commit to stay for this timeframe so you can get something done.

Info: At 8pm, we'll do a quick check-in to see how it's going! If you have to bounce early, now is a good time.

Info: Now that you've put in at least 1.5 hours of solid work time, feel free to continue to work and/or mingle.
