Raised on the quiet beaches of suburban Auckland, brothers Louis and Ben Helliker-Hales have become unlikely flag-bearers for modern house music: revered worldwide, yet rooted in something simple, tender, and true.
Their sound is sun-drenched but never soft. It grooves, pulses, and drifts — their taste shaped by duality: Peckham dance floors and Pacific coastlines, introspection and propulsion.
After more than a decade shaping the underground, Chaos In The CBD have unveilled their long-awaited debut album, A Deeper Life. An introspective, slow-burning record, it’s a love letter to their home country.
This December, they bring that energy to 170 Russell for an extended set under the banner All Night Chaos — a six-hour dive into the sounds and stories that have defined their journey. Expect soulful, hypnotic, and deeply rhythmic house — the kind they’ve spent over a decade perfecting.
