Everyone wants to break the rules. . . .but the only way to really do it mindfully is to learn some of the rules are first.
What: Join me in our series 2 of Mad Drum Circle Skills where we will work with all skill levels to unlock new levels of playing, mastery, confidence, health, and fun.
Philosophy: Being a cooperative player offers healing to the entire community by ensuring all participants are being heard and felt, included and exalted. This class is our collaboration in empowering these concepts.
Details: Previous experience will not be required, and there will drums available to borrow. You won't need to attend each class, but you'll probably get the most out of it if you do. At the end of the 8 week series, we will plan an open drum circle around a fire pit to practice what we've learned and invite our friends and the drum community to join us.
Where: Address information will be provided to those who RSVP. It's a private location, so please do not try to attend without confirmation first.
Duration and cost: Class is approximately 1.5 hours. I will accept a $15 cash/check/online payment donation per class or other forms of barter/trade/contributions on a case by case basis.
Extra: I will also encourage every participant to support Wolf's family by purchasing the Encyclopedia of World Rhythms. We do use it quite a bit in class. You can do a google search for it and find it pretty much wherever books are sold.
