The goal of Circling is for a group of people to see the world through your eyes, and for you to see the world through other people’s eyes. We flourish under the influence of caring, curious, and non-judgmental attention – and so does the connection between us. If money is tight, please contact me for pay-what-you-can options.
According to some theories, all feelings can be broken down into four root emotions. These are anger, sadness, fear, and joy. In a bonus session, we're going to explore shame. Shame is a complex stew of fear, sadness, and anger, and it can feel paralyzing. It can easily boomerang us back into feelings from when we were children – and had fewer emotional tools and limited understanding of the world at large.
Can shame ever deliver a message of value, or should we vanquish it like a fire-breathing dragon? Let’s talk about where shame lives in our bodies and what we experience when we feel shame – or think we should by don’t. Courage and resilience live on the other side!
