All Hallow's Eve WorshipWhat in the world is this? Christians celebrate all those who have gone before us in faith every year. That day is known as "All Saints Day." The night before, it has been our practice to have a moment of celebration and thanksgiving for those persons ("hallowed" means holy) and their impact on our lives. Not a sad day of mourning: it's a moment to rejoice!
Halloween is a shortening of All Hallows Eve, and so the current celebration of Halloween is a cultural reshaping of this Christian celebration.
We will be celebrating it this year as a way of reclaiming the day for God and his people. We will sing, name, and celebrate those who have gone before us in faith and made it possible for us to know God.
Wednesday, October 30th at 7pm
Everyone in the TTP family is all welcome to this event!
