The veils are growing thin...and whether you are celebrating Hallowe'en, All Hallow's Eve, the ancient Celtic Samhain festival, or marking the transition to Autumn, you are warmly welcomed to join the fun! We've rented the beautiful round, sky-lit sanctuary at 111 Superior St in James Bay across the street from Fisherman's Wharf Park for a multi-generational seasonal celebration. We'll dance to live fiddle with the amazing Q Brooke. There'll be a three channel silent disco with a variety of musical genres. Two channels will play songs from different genres and decades to get you moving and grooving. (You can send in requests in advance to info@silentdjvictoria or message us) One channel will be an ecstatic dance wave with an Ancestors theme. One channel will also be played on speakers at a moderate volume.
Feel free to join a costume parade and dance cypher wearing silent disco headsets around the Fisherman's Wharf area across the street from the rental hall! (Costumes are optional)
There will be a group art activity.
Option to bring photos of an ancestor or ancestors that you would like to remember & honour at this time of the year when the veils grow thin. You can add them to a group display if you like.
