Saturday, April 5 (Otsego County Library Downstairs Multipurpose Room - North Entrance) You're invited to participate in this Third Annual All Community Houseplant Social Event hosted by the Edelweiss Garden Club. Schedule: 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Members set up.
10:00 a.m. - Noon - Public welcome to swap or share.
What to bring: Healthy, pest free houseplant cuttings (starts) and small plants (pups), potted plants to rehab or rehome, seeds, tubers, and rhizomes (indoors or for outside this season).
Plant Accessories: Magazines, books, pots and planters, tools, plant stands, and dried plant material for arrangements.
New this year: Recycle Arts and Crafts It's all about reuse and keeping the good stuff out of landfills. What to bring:
Yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks
Quilting fabric and supplies
Paints, brushes and canvases
Beads, jewelry making tools and supplies
Paper, cardstock and scrapbooking materials
Any other craft supplies in good condition.
Edelweiss Garden Club is looking for acrylic paints for our Rock Painting Workshop April 16 (5:30 p.m. Otsego County Library) for "The Kindness Project" in our community gardens.
