Washington County Public Library is excited to host a special series for adults, teens, and tweens this November: All Ages Playwriting Workshop with Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig. The program will take place Saturday, November 9th, 16th, and 23rd from 2-4:30 p.m. at the Abingdon library for ages 10 and up.Adults, teens, and tweens: Develop dramatic characters and start a new play! In this free three-week workshop, internationally acclaimed playwright Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig will lead you through generative writing workouts designed to strengthen your playwriting muscles and spark your imagination.
No experience necessary. No registration required. Participants can attend all three sessions of the workshop or whichever dates their schedules allow. *We recommend that a parent or guardian be present to supervise participants ages 12 and younger.
