DJ Boitano is taking over The Open Studios for a boiler-room style DJ showcase!
Expect the unexpected with wild genre blends of house, hip-hop, alt-rock throwbacks, and guilty-pleasure bangers, stylishly crafted with live remixing, scratching, mashups, and on-the-fly flips that Boitano is known for. This isn’t just “press play” DJing, it’s a front-row seat to the craft, watching how he builds a set from warm-up and steers the energy to a full-send!
We’re setting this up boiler-room style: the decks are on the floor, the crowd is wrapped around the booth, and you can literally walk behind the tables to see the master in action. Watch his hands, watch the waveforms, watch the crowd go off, then jump back into the dance floor and lose it on the next drop.
Come ready to dance, watch, learn, and yell “WHAT DID HE JUST DO?!”
Backing up DJ Boitano are our Youth Openers featuring DJ Lion whose Junglist style wowed crowds last summer at Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival, Rifflandia, and Pachena Bay Music Festival!
