'A sonic display of startling magnificence' The Observer
As we approach Steve Reich's 90th birthday celebrations, the Two Moors presents the Colin Currie Quartet, famed worldwide for their performances of Reich's music, hailed by the composer himself as 'the best I've ever heard'. Alongside iconic works by Reich, the quartet present Anna Meredith's Bumps per Minute, a full throttle reinvention of traditional fairground dodgems from the Mercury Award shortlisted composer. No doubt that this will be a fun-filled wild ride. Bring the whole family for what promises to be an inspiring and exciting concert in the creative and relaxed Ashburton Arts Centre.
