About this Event
The Council wants to make West Sussex a better place for autistic people across all ages and for their families and carers. To achieve this, and, with the involvement of autistic people, their carers, and partners, we are working together in 2024 and 2025 to co-produce an autism strategy and plan.
At this workshop we will listen to the experiences of autistic adults and their unpaid carers focussing on finding out how autism-friendly West Sussex is and gathering information about people's needs and quality of life.
This information will then help us to understand what needs to happen to improve people’s experiences and outcomes, so that we can then co-produce a realistic plan around how improvements can be made in 2025.
Alongside this and other workshops we have also developed a survey which will be open from 07/10/2024 until 16/12/2024 and can be accessed here.

It is absolutely fine to complete the survey and attend a workshop.
We will provide some light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits).
