About this Event
We hold assumptions about what love is or should be. Unknowingly, we often undervalue or misunderstand its nature, meaning, and the radical power it holds for personal, community, and cultural transformation. bell hooks offers new visions of love with remarkable clarity and candour and these ideas have been a touchstone for this exhibition.
This panel discussion brings together artists involved in the exhibition to reflect on bell hooks’ All About Love and speak to how love shows up in their own making. It invites the public into the questions that have been sitting underneath the show: not about defining love, but about sharing how it is lived, felt, resisted, held, and crafted.
Join us for a discussion that sits between the book, the works in the show, and the experience of making.
