Daniel McHugh is a Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Bear Specialist based out of Red Lodge. Prior to his current role, Daniel worked on black bear research in the Missoula area, and as a grizzly bear technician along the Rocky Mountain Front in Choteau. Daniel plans to explain what a bear management specialist does, the challenges of managing conflicts between bears and people, and the ever evolving future of grizzly bear management across the West.
