To celebrate International Day of People with Disability, join us for an exciting day of Wheelchair Football at the Lords Recreation Centre run by WA All Abilities Footy! We are thrilled to have special guest, Rhiannon Clarke, joining us to share her experience and inspiring story.
This event is open to all abilities, so grab your friends and family and get ready for some fun on the courts. Spots are limited!
Light lunch will also be served.
About Rhiannon Clarke:
Rhiannon is a Perth-based Australian para-athlete who specialises in sprint events. Her career launched when she was selected to represent Australia at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. Rhiannon’s determination was evident at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships, where she demonstrated her commitment to advancing in para-athletics by winning bronze medals in both the women’s 100m T38 and 200m T38 events. She made her Paralympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games, competing in the women’s 100m T38. At the 2024 Paris Paralympics, Rhiannon finished fourth in the Women's 100 meters T38 and fifth in the Women's 400 meters T38, setting new Oceania records in both events.
About WA All Abilites Footy:
The Western Australian All Abilities Football Association was established to promote and grow disability football in Western Australia.
Its core purpose is to provide the opportunity for people with a disability to be involved and participate in Australian rules football like every other Australian.
