Alive @ Five is the outdoor happy hour that you don’t want to miss, featuring great live music, craft beverages and local food! Join us in the Carroll Creek Amphitheater every Thursday evening from 5-8PM, May 8 through September 25.
Admission is $6 (cash or credit / paid at the gate) and all events are 21+ only. ID required. Drink tokens are $6 each for beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails, and food is available for purchase on site. No outside beverages or coolers allowed. Free water is available inside the event.

About the Band
Edwin Ortiz y La Mafia Del Guaguanco is a renowned salsa orchestra founded by bandleader Edwin Ortiz in 1985, originally known as Orquesta La Romana. Over the years, the band has become a cornerstone of Washington, D.C.’s salsa scene, helping to elevate the city to global salsa prominence. With a fresh lineup and new material recorded in 2023, the orchestra continues to honor its roots while pushing the boundaries of salsa music.
