A sound healing and restorative experience: using two powerful modalities combined to cultivate a healing experience. We will move through the energy body and explore the chakras through sound healing, breath work and mindfulness.Restorative yoga allows the body time and space to rest, heal and recover through postures that use as little effort as possible. A relaxing and slow paced class that allows time and ease for the body, breath and mind to slow down. In this class you can expect as few as 5-6 postures and the use of props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets to hold and support the body.
Sound healing combines different healing sounds, music, and sound healing instruments that create resonant sounds and powerful vibrations, promoting relaxation and energy flow through the body. This vibrational energy can improve our multidimensional well-being where we are able to deepen the connection to our mind, body and breath.

This workshop is offered at Asheville Community Yoga. $30, with financial aid available.
