Our top priority is keeping our students and staff safe. To do this, we have adopted ALICE safety strategies—Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate—to better prepare for any potential threats at school.
Research and experts show that lockdown-only plans are not enough. ALICE gives everyone options to stay safe until help arrives. We teach these strategies to students in ways that are appropriate for all ages and abilities. Your school site will communicate to you when that is happening for your student.
Our staff have received thorough ALICE training from certified instructors to ensure everyone is ready. We believe this approach is the best for our school community.
We will host a parent night on September 30, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Paso Robles High School Performing Arts Center to answer your questions and share more about ALICE. We hope you join us and feel empowered to protect your family.
