Couldn't make it to ALIA's 2022 National Conference?
Join us for some of the best presentations from the 2022 ALIA National Conference in Canberra. Respect for the diversity and individuality of all people is one of ALIA’s core values, and ‘diversity’ has been selected by ALIA President, Vicki Edmunds as her Presidential theme. Libraries serve diverse communities and work to develop, maintain and share diverse collections. The following presenters will provide a shortened version of their presentations from the latest conferences and answer your questions :
- Dr. Jo Kaeding - Jo Kaeding has a Doctor in Philosophy from the University of South Australia. Her research focus is inclusive public libraries for children with disability and their families. Jo is a lecturer at the University of South Australia. She is also the Programs Team Leader, with the Adelaide Hills Council responsible for children’s, youth and adult programs throughout the library service.
- Ola Wleklinski - Ola has been working in special and public libraries since 1989. She was responsible for Community Services delivery at Noarlunga Libraries and Multicultural and Adult Services provision at Port Adelaide Enfield Libraries. Since 2012 Ola has been employed by the City of Marion, leading the Collections and Resources team. She has been selecting English and non-English materials for the South Australian Libraries for over 25 years.
- Dr. Sara King - Dr Sara King is the Training and Engagement Lead for AARNet. She is focused on outreach within the research sector, developing communities of interest around training, outreach and skills development in eResearch. She is passionate about helping others develop the infrastructure and digital literacies required for working in a data-driven world, translating technology so it is accessible to everyone.

Cost: $6 Members - $12 Non-Members
*Attendance qualifies for ALIA PD certification.
*We are currently planning this as an in-person event. Appropriate Covid-19 restrictions will be in place as necessary. We will be monitoring the South Australia Health guidelines for Covid-19 and may make appropriate changes if required, including delivering this Post-Con event online.
