Sometimes when you're least expecting it, God blesses! I had the name of a church in Sparta that has had singings in the past and their pastor's name and number. Been a while since my last contact and when I called Pastor Marty Carr he informed me that he was now at the Algood First Freewill Baptist Church in Algood. He also stated that his scheduled group for June had cancelled because of an illness, and could we fill their date on June 9th? We already had a previous commitment but after further talk and checking of schedules we are going to be with the Algood First Freewill Baptist Church for their August 11, 2024 monthly singing. The 2nd Sunday night singing starts at 5:00 pm and if you are in the area, you have an invite to come and be with us. It's Anchored Quartet's first trip to the plateau to sing and we're looking forward to it!
