Topic: "How to Recognize God's Voice in Prayer."Talk description:
All of us know that we should pray. Some of us know how to pray. Very few of us know how to listen, hear, and recognize God's voice in prayer. Sister Emily Beata shares a new way of looking at prayer and relationship with God along the journey of learning how to recognize His voice in our prayer and in our life.
Speaker Bio:
Sister Emily Beata Marsh grew up in the Buffalo, NY area. She entered the Daughters of St. Paul in 2007, professed vows in 2012, and final vows in 2018. For the past twelve years she has been stationed all over the country carrying out the Daughters’ mission of comunicating Christ through the media. She currently serves as the vocation director for the Daughters of St. Paul in the United States and Canada, and loves the opportunity to walk with young women in vocational discernment and the journey of recognizing God’s voice. (If you want any fun facts, I studied music and journalism for two years before entering the convent, and I enjoy reading books about neuroscience and science fiction books!)
