Join us for our Jazz Night @hotelbironwinebar on 2/26 @ 7pm. We are very excited to have @alexrieloff jazz trio! They will be bringing the music, we will be bringing the wine!
Below is a bio on the band.
Alexandra Rieloff (vocals) is a multidisciplinary artist, who builds her career between SF & NYC; her birthplace. Ms. Rieloff is an actor, filmmaker, choreographer and vocalist. She has 4 decades of experience, both being in front and behind the camera. Alexandra was composing music from the age of
nine, and from a very early stage in her career, she was a backup vocalist for a Brazilian band. Her father was a Jazz musician, so jazz would be her choice of music when she resumed her singing career.
Rob Bassinette (bass) is originally from New York. Mr. Bassinette journeyed
from southern California to San Francisco. His musical journey includes stints playing electric and upright bass in many styles, from punk rock to musical theater and punk rock to jazz. An in-demand bass player, we may hear him playing rock, folk, country and jazz in venues throughout the Bay Area. With the ARQ, Rob anchors the bottom, creating the canvas for the musical styling and vocals of the trio.
Mark Holzinger, (guitar) formally trained in jazz and classical music, local San Francisco guitarist Mark Holzinger was inducted into the Sacramento Western Swing Society Hall of Fame in 2016. He has performed with the likes of Marvin
Gaye, Ricki Lee Jones, Eddie Harris, Big Joe Turner, Bobby McFerrin, Peter
Rowan, Joe Williams and Big Mama Thornton to name a few. Mark has enjoyed playing many types of music throughout his 50 year career but always tends to circle back to his comfort zone in traditional jazz and swing music!
