Together, they will explore and expand upon the unique musical legacy of Eric Dolphy, an avant-garde jazz pioneer whose innovative use of the bass clarinet left an indelible mark on modern jazz.Colonna, known for his bold, expressive playing and deep technical prowess, brings a fresh perspective to Dolphy’s challenging compositions, while Hawkins, with his unpredictable yet masterful improvisational style, provides the perfect counterpart.
