The second show starts seating at 9pm.New Covenant is a project that captures the sounds and spiritual and emotional impact of the Gospel through the medium of Jazz. It features both written compositions and inspired moments of improvisation. Led by Alex White (writer, arranger, and drummer), the band includes many talented musicians from Metro Detroit and beyond, such as Rafael Statin (woodwinds and synths), Chris Sykes (bass), Antwain Kirkland (keys and auxiliary synths), Roger Jones (organ), and vocalist Kristian Fountain.
