Alex White and David Wyatt bring their
blend of Folk, Rock, Funk, and Alt-Country to the 2025 Stoughton Art Walk, representing one half of the band Alex White & The Friends.
You’ll hear many different influences in the music. We’ll play some original songs as well as covers from multiple genres spanning five decades.

Best known as a founding member of the Midwest Jam/Funk band Pine Travelers, songwriter/guitarist Alex White has played in dozens of bands in his 20 year career as a professional musician. Prior to Pine Travelers, White was a founding member of the bands 4th Coast and Elf Lettuce. During those years, he toured much of the U.S. extensively and had the privilege of being the weekly opening act for Clyde Stubblefield, the legendary “Funky drummer” for James Brown and countless other artists. With a wealth of experience under his belt, White performs regularly with bands, as a solo artist, and organizes an annual tribute to The Band’s “Last Waltz” concert. Alex and Dave also write original music for their studio project Phat Boyz, and play in local Ween tribute band Play it Off Legit.
