Uraeuses was born in the shadows of Egypt's ancient past, where the gods and goddesses still whisper in forgotten tombs. Formed in 2018, the band channels the relentless chaos and brutality of Egypt’s dark history, invoking the wrath of deities like Sekhmet, Set, and Osiris. Our first EP, "Slithering Through Ancient Catacombs" (2022), is a descent into the abyss of myth, a furious ritual echoing the divine wars, blood sacrifices, and eternal curses of the Nile. The EP garnered critical acclaim, with Black Metal Daily praising its ability to resurrect the ancient horrors with unrelenting ferocity and dark atmosphere.
