About this Event
Interest in mead has skyrocketed over the past couple years. We get folks coming in all the time that see we carry mead and they've heard of it, but don't exactly know what mead is.
This class will explore the what mead is and how it's made. Additionally we'll explore its history, the various types of mead available, and how to serve them. Most importantly, we'll have a great time tasting a range of meads!
The class will be led by Alewife co-owner and Certified Cicerone®, Kelly Pickard. Cost to attend is $30 and includes educational presentation, handouts, and a guided tasting. All class attendees must present ID showing they are 21+ years old.
